"Sustainable Austria" is a seal of quality for sustainably produced wines. They are manufactured according to economic, ecological and social criteria and are strictly checked. From the grape harvest to the aging of the wines to bottling, the entire production process is examined and evaluated for its contribution to sustainability. Not only the careful handling of the vine and the soil, but also their effects on the environment such as greenhouse gases for the fulfillment of the "European Green Deal" requirements of the European Commission are the focus.
Around 360 measures in the nine sustainability areas of climate, material, energy, soil, biodiversity, water, quality, social affairs and economy are evaluated. External control companies guarantee independent compliance with the requirements. We were able to meet all these requirements and can now proudly announce that our 2022 vintage has been certified as "Sustainable Austria".
